I had a very busy weekend and have yet again neglected my blog. I believe I have said this before, but I am not a picture person (then why the heck did I start a blog? haha). Example: I was gone all weekend in beautiful Tahoe, dancing it up with some gorgeous ladies and I managed to take about five whole pictures while I was there. We outfit planned for weeks...and still no pictures. I like to think that I am having too much fun to remember to take a dumb picture. I would rather be actually making the memories instead of just photographing a bunch of stuff...but I guess that it is just my excuse for not keeping my blog in mind :) I hope you will forgive me!

Sometimes I feel like photographs just don't do my outfit justice. This blouse is beautiful in person, but is coming across a little bleh in the photos. How adorable is my nephew? He was patiently waiting for us to be done with pictures, so that we could go swimming in the beautiful pool in the background.  It is tough looking at these vacation photos, especially since I started back at work yesterday. I think I decided that Fall is my favorite season, so at least there is that to look forward to :)

Nick and I had a very fun and relaxing weekend. I started the weekend off right on Friday with a shopping date to the outlets and mall with my friend Melisa. We may or may not have stopped at my favorite cookie place where I definitely did not purchase 6 cookies!  On Saturday our friends Christina and George came down for a day of wine tasting. Christina prepared some little snacks and we sat on the patio of a gorgeous winery, enjoying the company and of course the vino. After that we headed back to our house for a BBQ, card games, more wine, and tons of laughter. We absolutely enjoyed ourselves and can't wait to do it again! Finally, on Sunday we headed to my aunt and uncle's to swim in an attempt to beat the heat. Melisa, Nick, and I floated around for several hours, while her poor hubby and Nick's friend worked their butts off in the orchard. Hopefully they will be able to join in the fun next time. I am excited for the holiday weekend, as I know you all are. Have a great week.

Party Attire-BCBG

A couple of weekends ago I spent some quality time with one of my best gal pals.  There is nothing more relaxing then catching up, lunch, and shopping! My friends are very important people in my life and she is definitely no exception!!! (I found a new collage maker and had a little too much fun.)

One of my other best gal pals is getting married this year and I am lucky enough to be a bridesmaid. I anticipate needing some dresses for all of the bridal festivities and will look no further than BCBG.  I adore BCBG and would live in their clothing if I had the choice. These are some of the dresses that I am loving for the up coming events!

This might be my favorite shirt. I love the color, cinched waist, and somewhat high-low hem. I always feel pretty when I wear it :) I'm looking forward to another three day weekend!

This is the beautiful top that my sissy got me for my birthday! My white shirt underneath peeked through a little too much...but lesson learned. Last night I had dinner with one of my most favorite people in the world, after picking up my race bib! I can't believe the half-marathon is tomorrow. Wish me luck!
