It's very likely that you genuinely enjoy activities when just about everything makes sense. You naturally gravitate to tasks where facts, events, processes, or ideas are methodically outlined.  By nature, you enjoy being busy, especially when you can assist someone in need.  You are likely to be a good partner at home, in the workplace, at school, or in the community.  You tend to do more than is expected of you.  Why?  You probably worry about wasting time.  This explains your habits of volunteering for projects and asking for extra duties.  Instinctively, you routinely reduce elaborate or intertwined ideas, processes, legal documents, and/or action plans to their basic elements.  As a result, people usually turn to you for plainspoken, easy-to-understand explanations.  Chances are good that you enjoy the companionship of individuals who tell you what they plan to accomplish in the coming weeks, months, or years.  Once you know their goals, you can help them reach their objectives.  Few things please you more than this.  Because of your strengths, you are naturally open and honest about who you are, what you have done, what you can do, and what you cannot do.  Your straightforward explanations and stories help listeners see you as you see yourself.  You reveal your strengths and limitations.  You are forthright and plainspoken.  People generally seek your company and want to work with you.  Many are impelled to move into action by your words and examples.

Floral

Dress Target/Clutch UO/Shoes DV Dolce Vita/ Belt F21

I wore this cozy dress over the weekend to breakfast with my family. This dress is quite old, but I never get tired of the print. On another note, I made a meatloaf last night that had a ton of vegetables in it. It actually turned out better than I had expected...my husband even requested that I make it again.

Casual

Dress Old/ Top Nordstrom/ Shoes Dolce Vita/ Bag YSL

Don't worry folks, I realize that the denim/chambray trend has been a bit over done, but what hasn't? I love my denim jacket, but it is a bit too warm this time of year for it. A button up is a nice alternative.

The summer break has afforded me with ample time for thinking/contemplating and has resulted in a few personal goals. I guess it doesn't have to be January 1st to make some resolutions...

Silky Shorts

Shorts and Tank F21/ Shoes DV Dolce Vita/ Necklace Express/ Bag Marc by Marc Jacobs

I have been living in silky shorts and tanks the last couple of days. I liked the fun print on these and the fact that they were around 10 dollars. Be prepared for the silky shorts overload this week!

Spring Ankle Boots

Top BB Dakota/ Jeans 7FAM/ Boots DV Dolce Vita

I am just getting around posting this picture from last weekend, oops! We had a very busy weekend, including date night, a concert, dinner with friends, and a BBQ/swim party. We dined at Yard House for date night and enjoyed some cider (for me) and beer (for Nick). The concert provided an excellent opportunity for people watching...there are some things you just can't un-see! We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent with friends this weekend.  I love all the laughter and memories that we create.

Pink and Blue

Top F21/ Jeans True Religion/Shoes DV Dolce Vita/Bag Marc by Marc Jacobs/ Jewelry Express

I am ready to break out all of my summer sandals and tank tops! I tend to push the limit when it comes to wearing the appropriate sleeve-length and shoes based on the weather, so it's no wonder why I tend to be cold. It must be my optimism peeping its head out. Have you been embracing the little bit of sunshine we have had or are you holding on to the cozy clothing of winter?

Don't forget to enter the necklace giveaway (follow me on google friend connect AND leave a comment). It will end Saturday evening. Also, if you haven't already, head over to Facebook and vote for me in the Stylemint contest! Thanks for reading :)

I read on another blog the other day that you can't wear the latest trend everyday. Sometimes it is nice to just wear a comfy, casual outfit. Have a great weekend!

Tan and Army Green

Top and Cardigan F21/ Jeans Citizens of Humanity/ Shoes DV Dolce Vita

Just an easy neutral look. I wont be wearing this pant/rolled hem/shoe combination again...It really made my legs look very short. That's one nice thing about taking pictures of your outfits.

Five things I love about my Dad's side of the family:

1. They make family a priority. We get together every Monday night and have dinner. We take turns cooking meals, which takes the burden off of one person and allows us to sample different recipes. I especially love when it is not my turn to cook :)

2. Family dinners mean that I get to see my Grandma and Grandpa at least once a week. I have said it before, but my grandmother is amazing. She is so intelligent and gives the best advice. There is nothing like hearing about life from somebody who has lived one.

3. They are hilarious! My two male cousins have to be some of the funniest people on earth.  My uncle likes to be right more than anybody on the planet and is not afraid to tell you when you are wrong. Much of our laughter comes from making fun of each other...it's the Rasmussen way. I am always calling my sister to tell her what humorous things were said around the table.

4. They love and accept me for who I am. They all know that I love to work out, dress up, eat healthy (most of the time), be right, talk a lot, etc. I never feel as if I am being judged.

5. Once a week I see the people that most resemble my father. As many of you know, my dad passed away about a year and a half ago. These dinners always provide me with a feeling of closeness that I can't get anywhere else. I see my dad in my aunt's eyes, my grandpa's skin, my grandma's smart mouth...I could go on and on.
