IIIIIIIt's Fffffrrrriiiidddaaayyyy

Two weeks from today I will be saying my "I dos" on the sandy beach!!! But until then, I have some birthday shopping and
Christmas wrapping to do. Maybe I will complete my gift chores while watching Ellen. I have been trying to win her 12 days of giveaways, but I am not very lucky when it comes to contests (and it's not for lack of effort). On another note, we are obsessed with breaking bad right now. The first couple of episodes weren't all that great, but it suddenly became fantastic! Have a great weekend!

Artsy craftsy

If you're like me, your fridge is covered with schedules, shopping lists, bowling magnets, high game bowling sheets....okay okay, so maybe yours doesn't look EXACTLY like mine. I am sure your fridge starts filling up with all of the Christmas cards though! Ours was a little bit over crowded (no it wouldn't have anything to do with the bowling paraphonilia), so I decided to try my hand at something crafty! -insert dramatic music here- Those who know me well know that arts and crafts isn't really my thang, but this is my attempt to showcase our Christmas cards without cluttering our fridge even more than it already is. Barnett family, I am still waiting for yours!!!

Mixing prints (kind of)

Mixing prints seems to be a very tricky thing. Only people like Miranda Kerr can really pull it off (in my humble opinion of course). On another note, I love getting wedding gifts in the mail. It feels like Christmas everyday :-)

Holiday appetizers

I think i must be getting older, because i am now being asked to bring food to holiday parties/festivities....not that I mind. I love to bake and cook and fully enjoy contributing, but this year seems to be packed with parties and that means lots of appetizers. I love trying new things, but it is a bit scary if you don't have time to test them out before hand. I have a couple of go-tos; however, I would love to branch out. Any good appetizer recipes that you would like to share? :-)

Printed pants

Since I do have a bit of a bubble butt (you can see it making its way out in today's post), I try to b careful with printed pants. I don't want my lower half to look like an actual cheetah. These pants are pretty subtle, so hopefully you agree that they work. Happy Monday!

Florals

Here is a quick peek at what I wore to my bridal shower today. Once it gets dark outside we don't have a great place to take pictures. Sorry about the lighting. I also interrupted my photographers game of black ops, but you couldn't tell from the beautiful photos ;-)
